On the 25th of April it is ANZAC day. The word ANZAC means Australian and New Zealand army corps. The soldiers are brave and not scared.The first war started in 1914.
British Empire has controlled Australia for 13 years and new Zealand For 7 years. Australian and New Zealand become new soldiers. They went to Gallipoli island. The soldiers fought for 8 months. Over 8,000 soldiers died. The ANZACS battle ended on 1915.In 1916, 25th of April Australia and New Zealand hold a event every year to remember the soldiers who died for us.
