Giraffes week 5

Did you know Giraffes tongue can grow up to 18 inches long? You are going learn interesting informations about giraffes in this story. 

The giraffe family name is called Giraffidae. The scientific name  is called Giraffa Camelopardalis.  Also the common name of the giraffe is called Giraffe.

The colour on the Giraffes body are white, tan, red, brown and black. The giraffes weight is 550kg - 1930kg (1200lbs - 4200lbs). The height of the giraffe is 4m - 6m (13ft - 20ft). The giraffea neck is extremely long, it is 2-2.4m (6.6-7.9ft). 

The giraffe eats grass fruit leaves. The Giraffe eats around 34kg (75ib) a day. The predator of the giraffes are Lions, Leopards and Hyenas.

PBL

Today, i help my mum vacuum cleaner the house. First i tidy up the living room. I tidied up my little brother's toys and then i put them in his blue box. When i was done tidying up i press the silver button on the vacuum. The vacuum turned on and now it can suck up dust and dirt. I walk around the living  room with the vacuum. The dust and dirt is all gone now. 

 I cleaned the house today and my mum sooooooooooo happy. I am soooo happy too because my mum did  not need to do the work.

My ANZAC story

When i look in the picture, i see a big and tall tower with red flowers on it. I stayed there and i heard people chatting each other. I feel sad because the ANZACS died. The other people are feeling graceful because the ANZACS died for us.

ANZAC day

On the 25th of April it is ANZAC day. The word ANZAC means Australian and New Zealand army corps. The soldiers are brave and not scared.The first war started in 1914.



British Empire has controlled Australia for 13 years and new Zealand For 7 years. Australian and New Zealand become new soldiers. They went to Gallipoli island. The soldiers fought for 8 months. Over 8,000 soldiers died. The ANZACS battle ended on 1915.In 1916, 25th of April Australia and New Zealand hold a event  every year to remember  the soldiers who died for us.
